Sharin the gospelz

Hey yall. It's been a pretty good week. It went by well fast tho. Pretty sick. Lots of finding this week. We've been trying so hard to get someone to teach. We will get their eventually I'm sure. 😜 we tried all sorts of stuff in our finding. We even tried venturing out into the wilderness of Wales and knocking this tiny village and all the surrounding farms. It was a lot of walking. It was a nice change though! (: unfortunately we still weren't able to find any interested people, haha I think people thought we were crazy when we told them how far we had walked. 😜 we talked to some nice people though so it was a good time. So yeah lots of finding. 

We decided we're going to move away from finding and focus more on helping the members who come to church, and the ones who don't come quite as often. That's gonna be the main focus. And finding whenever we're not with members. (: Just trying to help out the branch because it's struggling. 

There's so many amazing people here! We attended the funeral of a well loved ward member Kath Parker. I never got to meet her, but everyone who spoke really seemed to love her a lot. It was a nice service, and it reinforced my testimony that life continues on and death is part of the plan! Just the next essential part in our progression. (: her fam asked me and Artates to say the prayers as well.

Big big miracle last Monday night. We were tracting but weren't getting anything at all. I was like aight we outta here. We prayed and both felt like we should go down to the promenade and tryin talk to some people. Then we talked to John down on the promenade. Oh man. John was the flippin man. So very prepared. He was stressed that night and felt like going on a run. We talked about how God led us to each other. Talked about loads. Spirit was super strong the whole time. He's felt like he's been lacking spiritually lately. So that was dope. When we asked if we could come around, he didn't want to give us his number or address he wanted to "leave it to god." Haha little frustrating but fair enough. I kinda like it actually. When god leads him to missionaries again, it will reinforce in him that he needs the missionaries and the Book of Mormon. So not sure if it's gonna be us that God arranges for John to meet again. I hope it is haha. (: good man John.

We're working with this one part member family. Mainly just befriending them right now. So yeah they good. 

I've been thinking a bit about enduring to the end lately. Man it can be pretty hard. Sometimes we feel like we're giving our all, but we don't measure up to the expectation. But I know for a fact, that God looks at the desires of our heart. Doctrine and covenants says that God blesses those that keep his commandments, AND STRIVE TO DO SO. That's pretty amazing. I'm grateful for that. Cause sometimes, trying is all we can do. But God is patient with us. He loves us, were his children. I know that's true. I know God lives. Love yall. (: deuces.
